"I encountered an issue where my bank account was being charged twice anytime I utilized my card at the resort. As it turns out the resort does a pre authorization and primary authorization on cards (not all cards), which in turn puts a hold on double the amount for a few days. This was a surprise to me and when I attempted to understand what the situation was the resort staff was not helpful at all. Other than that the stay was good and I will be back with lessons learned. "

"Palafitos was an unforgettable experience!!! The beach is shallow so the waves are never big. Staying on the water is magical. The Palafitos area is "quite luxury" style. EVERYTHING is designed to make sure you have a relaxing experience. The restaurant is wonderful.
