"The staff was amazing, they made our stay very enjoyable. My mom is a vegetarian, they accommodated our food preferences and she had a fun time. The food was made with fresh ingredients and we had no problems hygiene wise. The trees and plantation in the resort was stunning with all the fresh air. "Amazing hotel grounds, it's like staying in a jungle. Cute agoutis (local rodents) running around. At the time of our visit it had the best beach among the neighbouring resorts. All the other hotels had ugly sandbags everywhere to prevent the sand erosion. "We choose the master suite. Though it is not sound proof between living and bedroom areas, the size is decent. Room service is good. The food options are based on customer order instead of large buffet, we found it nice and fresh. Hotel is next to main street so it is very covenient for shopping, though 20-30 min walk to beach. One thing bothered me was the loud music, which last till 2A sometimes. "

"Beautiful property, amazing staff. We had a wonderful time. Thought the food and wine was a bit overpriced and seemed a little chincy to be giving away free soda and water in the room but charging a ridiculous price at lunch or dinner or the beach for the same thing, especially at this hotel price point. Honestly, I think they'd be better served by going up slightly on the price and making it an all-inclusive exclusive of alcohol."

"This was not the place we stayed at even though we booked it through the site. we were informed it was booked out and was forced to pick the caracol location without explanation or a refund. The experience was beyond horrible that we stayed at a different hotel for a night just to avoid the nightmare we endured during the stay. I will never use this platform and will make sure my colleagues do not either. "

"The hotel was very well located. The pool and all the shared areas were very clean (the cleaners worked tirelessly). The rooms were a good size. The towel policy was a bit difficult (i.e. you had to leave ID, which seems weird since they already had your information including credit card info. Also, their policy on sheet changes was draconian, i.e. we stayed a week. Mid week, my daughter asked for a sheet change and was told the cost would be 700 pesos which is almost $50.
