Everything was great. Food, service, facilities. Only thing I can complain about is the pillows (for the non-diamond clubbers) they were all very hard. Perfect for families, lots of nightly entertainment and plenty of amenities like the pool, waterslides, splash pad for the daytime. Be prepared to be bombarded with the sales pitch as soon as they see you. They have a Prime members presentation they want to sell you on and you can get some freebies out of it whether you buy in or not. It was worth doing the 2-2.5 hours on day 2. And much like every other resort, if you want to sit by the pool, you better get up early and put your towels on the chairs before everybody else does.

We had the most terrible experience in this hotel. We have been to Cancun 3 times already. Always had great time with the other resorts and the food quality, services was always on point. But with this specific resort we had a really bad experience from day one of our arrival. We had booked ocean front 2 queen beds with balcony. They gave us a king bed for 2 adults and 2 kids. They told us they will try to give us what we original booked for once they have an open room and in the meanwhile they will provide us with a rollaway bed. We never got the rollaway bed. We ended up sleeping on one king bed for 2 days. Food quality is terrible and also the selection is very little. They make almost everything in the buffet and give it to the restaurants. You can tell buffet food is not fresh. Only thing fresh you get is omelette in my opinion. They have food trucks by the pool that have a menu and most of the things on menu isn’t available. We ordered a burger 2 time and both times they were out of lettuce. Drinks don’t have enough alcohol it’s like they drop a small drop of alcohol and mix with juice and call it’s margaritas. Sodas where flat at couple locations. Orange juice is mixed with water. Basically food quality is very bad. Ocean has to many waves not a lot people where in the ocean. I would never go back to this resort again. We had a terrible experience.

The resort was amazing. Incredible staff always trying to help you with everythere was one big issue. They do not heat up any of their pools. The kid's pool is ice water. My daughter cannot enjoy the entire trip. The other 2 pools are slightly warm. This made the state extremely hard to enjoy. We went strictly for the pools and the pools were not heated.issue. They do not heat up

We enjoyed our time here. Only downside was the drinks were not consistent (in taste) and the portion size in the restaurants were small.

Expedia check in was amazing Alejandro is a great representative! He is helpful respectful and considerate to our Family we we’re treated like Family members at the Royalton Splash Resort Expedia representatives Krystal and Alejandro kept in touch with us the whole time making sure we were looked after and that if we needed anything Amazing service and wonderful holiday Thank You ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating

We enjoyed our time at this resort, enjoyed lattes every morning at the coffee shop. Really enjoyed the Hunter steak house., there was lots of dining options. The staff was helpful and friendly. Nothing bad to say about this resort.
