The resort was well kept and amazing service. Would recommend lobby bar entertainment around happy hour. Also the Buffett lunch was less than desirable options but the burgers and Mexican options around the pool were great options.

This was our first time stay at this Hilton resort, and it was an exceptional experience. The resort staff was exceptionally friendly, and the bar staff was equally impressive. The only notable absence was the swimming pool bar and the weekend music entertainment.

Everything about our stay was First Class from the moment we got out at the entrance. Our room was immaculate with ocean views on two sides. The staff in all areas were friendly and catered to our every need. Dining was Excellent with wait staff always ready to help and the Bartenders made superb drinks. Definitely a new favorite destination.

The constant loud music around the pools was unpleasant. The evening entertainments on the ocean side of the resort were so loud guests had to keep the doors closed on the balconies. Many times during the day and the evening, you couldn't sit out on your balcony at all because the music was so loud. In the performance amphitheatre the sound reverberated off the walls and was so loud you had to leave. The entertainment choices were very poor. The only enjoyable entertainment was the Latin music band on Friday evening.

We went as a family vacation with daughter and 2 grandkids. The set up of the hotel is excellent with a children section and an adult section. The staff are generally very good. Want to give a shout out to Alejandra from management who helped us with room service improvements. And to Marco from AUMA, an awesome waiter who went out of his way. The rooms are quite spacious and we got one overlooking the ocean. The soundproofing of the hotel is non existent and the music gets very loud although they are good at closing down around 9 pm. The shows in the evening are very entertaining. The gym facility is excellent with up to date machines and equipment. The food in general is average for the buffet. Order simple foods for room service and should be ok. The restaurants in terms of ranking: AUMA top, followed by Maxal, La Luce and Sinan. AUMA is excellent. Go to the main lobby area to get your restaurant bookings as soon as you get there. The pool areas can get quite crowded so you need to go before 10 to get good beach chairs. The beach itself has been washed out so really non existent. But there are some play areas for the kids and the ocean water is inundated with seaweed. But a walk along the beach is very nice. And lastly if you have an opportunity for a free upgrade to WA next door, I would go for it. I regretted not doing that.

Room was a little run down (no fault to the cleaning staff). Staff weren’t the friendliest except for a few stand out. Food at buffet was OK. Restaurants and food carts were better (Auma and MAXALE were best). Kids had fun. Probably wouldn’t come back considering price.

Our children loved the pools, the hot tubs, the food and the Kids Corner. My daughter loved the women who run the Kids Corner and my kudos to them. The little ice cream / confectionary shop is also really cute. The food options were great and even the buffet Vela had such different options it was like going to a different restaurant each time really. The staff were all (and I mean all of them) so friendly and easy going, and kind to us, and our kids. It was my wife's birthday and the staff when they found out made it very special. We loved it here and will be back. The only suggestions I would make are: 1) The hot tub needs better cleaning during the day, filtration, and jets. It was kind of just a pool of hot water that was not moving, which we weren't used to and wasn't very pleasant (although our daughter still liked it). 2) The black lettering for the room numbers and the signs for room numbers should be replaced with plates. They are very nice when they aren't broken but unfortunately a lot of them are broken and it makes the place look a bit run down for no reason (which it isn't). Our room on the 5th floor was gorgeous and was so quiet. We loved the room and room service.

Not a great experience. Our first room was unacceptable. Especially for a Hilton standard. Staff was not very accommodating in most were very rude. We had two staff manager members at made the day better otherwise we most likely would’ve checked out and went to another hotel. Food was just average. Just a very disappointing trip. Will never go back.

Property upgraded our room when we arrived. Stated that they had given our room to someone else. Good for us, right? Wrong. Beautiful view of the ocean! As the sun set, the loud music started in the veranda outside our suite. We asked for Another room on the other side of the hotel. No rooms available. The storm arrived the next night. Wind and rain. Around 1am, I Got up to check on something and put my feet on the floor. Water! Turned on the lights and water everywhere. No other rooms available. Sad story is, no one came to check out the issue which tells me that they knew. Food was ok. very disappointed with the Hilton property.
