"The experience was overall great with a few caveats. I don’t believe that this is a 5 star resort based on a few customer service details that were simply lacking. As soon as we arrived at the resort after a very early and long flight the receptionist was very aggressively trying to persuade us to upgrade our stay by hundreds of dollars in order to access the adult TRS beach. We were flat out told we wouldn’t have access to the TRS adults only beach area and would have to use the family side. We...

"This was our second trip here. Our first time we stayed on the palms side and this time on the seaside suites side. The grounds are beautiful and there are food and drink options everywhere. Lots of gluten free food, very clean, and the staff is always eager to help. We were able to find a Bali bed every day. I never thought I’d go to the same place twice but we are already planning to come a third time. "

"My girlfriend and I went there for a Weeknd getaway and the first thing we noticed was security guard at the gate. We felt very safe. The reception area was very cozy and impressive. The facilities: restaurants, shopping store, the pool were clean and well organized. The room was a panoramic view to the ocean with a hot tub outside on the balcony, and it was excellent to enjoy it. You will like it there."

"Great resort with lots of things to do. Loved the grounds, pools and a la carte restaurants. Pleasantly surprised with upgrade to VIP at check in from booking with Expedia. Our two concierges were wonderful and always available to help us with any questions throughout our stay (thank you Cielo and David!). Angel at the White Sands front desk was also especially helpful and friendly. Staff were amazing overall. This was our second trip to GP White Sands and we would come again. "
