Overall, I had a pleasant experience. The resort was loaded with the natural beauty of God's creation, and overall, was clean and tidy. I also thought the dining options were outstanding, and the staff members were kind and very willing to help with any requests. The reason why I did not give 5 stars was due to an unpleasant odor in the room (2721) that I stayed in. I was told that this was an upgrade, but I do not understand how we were upgraded to a room with an unpleasant odor. That needs to be addressed and resolved. We mentioned the odor to the staff and they did respond by bringing a filter type machine. It helped, and I appreciate that. But I think the root of the issue should be addressed and resolved. In addition, Villa 27 was near what seemed to be the water treatment area and therefore, even outside of our room there were times when there was an unpleasant odor. However, I do not think the odor from inside the room was because of the smell from outside. Outstanding staff, great location, clean and tidy throughout the resort. Excellent food. The resort was awesome! Attentive staff, plenty of pool space with shade, and daytime and nighttime activities for all ages helped to keep my family busy for the entire week. The beach was swimmable for the kids thanks to the rock berms they’ve installed to break the waves along the shore. The resort feels slightly older in a few ways but, for the price, this is one of best family options in the area. Highly recommend if you’re looking for the most bang for your buck.

The best part of the vacation was the perfect weather. The beach was beautiful and the pools were nice. However, the hotel is very large. There is no room service or wait staff anywhere while at the pool or beach. The lines are always extremely long for drinks. The hotel deceives you. You DO NOT get two bedrooms. You get one with one bed and a pull out sofa bed. The bottom of bed was gross and not cleaned. The staff doesn’t help. They tell you to come back and check in two hours to get you away from the desk and then you go back and they tell you they can’t help. They ran out of towels for the pool. Making dinner reservations was very difficult. Some places are not even on the property so another false advertisement. I will never stay at a Bahia resort ever again.

I have bern to these resorts 4 times. Very disappointed in how unkept and rundown it was. Buffett had limited varieties as it had the same food all week. The main pool was fun but people throwing up in garbage cans and people bringing their own music on huge boombox so we cant hear any other music announcements was a bit much. We spent a lot if time at Coba as it was cleanerand more under control We wont be back

The hotel was beautiful. the grounds were amazing. The staff was great, especially Mateo. He was so helpful and friendly; he made our stay fantastic! I did not like the al la carte situation. There were no reservations available for any restaurant at all during our stay. We were forced to eat at the buffet for all of our meals every day. While the buffet had great options, it would have been nice to eat at a restaurant at least once.

I liked the very large selection of food that your buffet had and all very delicious, every day I had something different. I also liked the drinks the drinks were amazing and the stuff was so friendly. By far my favorite was the massage I experienced two different ones and they were phenomenal such a great experience. I was there celebrating my birthday and the room decorations made my day feel so special thank you all so very much!

The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is amazing. The bufete restaurants have food for everyone, but they play horrible music (all songs are sang by the same female in a horrible jazzy/ lobby tone). The App sucks, sometimes it works, some times it doesn’t. The availability to book specialty restaurants is very limited ( not sure if it is an app issue or booking capabilities of the restaurant). When you book, you can never talk to a person, no way to communicate directly to the hotel. The activities and shows are very good. Overall the place is very good.

The check in process took over an hour. We were extremely disappointed. When we finally got a room, it was a 3rd floor walk up. Due to a previous surgery stairs were difficult-but we didn’t have any other options and just wanted to get settled. My wife was sick from the buffet shrimp for 48hrs. And getting reservations at the a la carts restaurants was impossible. Lastly, we were informed all inclusive meant access to 1 meal at the a la carte restaurant. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.
