"We were not given the room we had booked and no discount was given. Also there is a daily fee for the sewer system that is not mentioned in the booking site. While not expensive, it's nice to know all costs related to a stay. Otherwise the beach and beach staff Stephanie especially and restaurant staff were wonderful. The young lady at the desk was so helpful "

"The location of this property is probably the best. It is right on the beach with lots of shade. The rooms were clean and had all necessary amenities - we ended up in a one bedroom apartment after upgrading from a studio that was not all all acceptable due to lack of water coming out of the hot water tap. I would definitely come back but not to the studio suite. The staff were friendly and easy going. Very responsive to our needs."

"Property was beach front, which is great. The breakfast included was great and they had plenty of additional options. We had the best room in the house that included a wonderful front porch. However, our bed was so hard and uncomfortable. Our AC was also not working properly which lead to some uncomfortable nigjts. Service staff was great. Very easy to walk to great restaurants. "

"My husband and I just spent 3 nights at Playa Maya. We got to the hotel a little late, but was greeted by Marvin (I believe he's night time security) who helped us to our room. The hotel doesn't have a street entrance so you must walk through the beach, which was fine, we're at the beach anyway! They provide fresh water for the rooms and ours was cleaned nicely everyday. We have nothing but good things to say about this property. Our favorite person was Marvin. He carried great conversations...
