We spent 4 days with my wife and two kids, the hotel has all the possible activities for the family: beach, pool, water slides and have a great indoor facility with bowling, trampolines and others. My kids loved it. Food was great, they have many options and great quality. We didn’t drink that much but they offer great variety of liquor. I’ll definitely come back again, first time on this hotel chain. Rooms are outdated but it looks like they are going to start some renovations. I had the VIP access but nobody told me so not sure what we’ve missed

Stayed here 8 years ago, loved it. EXTREMELY disappointed this time. Place is completely run down, mold in the air vents in restaurants. WORST part is the restaurant reservation “system”. Stayed in MANY all inclusive in Mayan Riviera and this is a joke. Going to send a formal letter to the CEO of Hard Rock, not that it’ll help but he should know. Apparently one in Cancun is quite nice.

Loved the hotel. So many things to do with kids. The beach is THE BEST! The food was good, many options. The water park had a lot of closed slides which was a bummer! Enjoyed the kids area with rock climbing, obstacle course, bowling and trampolines.

After reading a few bad reviews I was a bit worried about the room conditions. But our room was great. AC worked really well and everything was clean and spotless. They are doing a lot of renovations and updating but you literally are never bothered by it. Staff are really great. And management takes guest safety very seriously. Zero tolerance for unsafe behaviour. We had an amazing time.

The hotel shuttle was horrible. Upon arrival it took us 3 hours to get to the hotel bc they dropped off at other hotels. It should have taken 30 min max. We booked a private return upon departure. The elevator was broken in our building the entire stay. The front desk tried to move us but there was not an equivalent room available. The resort is massive. Be prepared to walk A LOT. the pool area was very nice tho i found some staff were not as friendly as others. Some were great. The resort grounds were beautiful but the maintenance on the buildings was lacking and trash items were not picked up quickly. (Empty wine bottle sat near stairs for 2 days). For the food, restaurant for dinner were excellent. Service was outstanding. The buffets were no where near as good. Food was absolutely cold every time we ate. The selection was ok. Breakfast served a lot of traditional food but unless you ordered from specialty area. It was cold. Our room was nice, kept clean, stocked. View was amazing. Space was also good. The hotel is doing some construction so hopefully some of the other issues get fixed too.

We enjoyed all the pools, beaches and restaurants. We had great service at the Faro restaurant, and the staff there was amazing. They made us feel very welcome and on our last day there we even received a thank you card from the staff. My complaint is that I wish they would have an early check-in for guests whose flights are early in the morning. Instead of being honest and saying our room wouldn't be ready till 3, they told us to check back every couple of hours. Our room was still not ready at 3 pm but they did call to apologize and also gave us a free comp. Which was greatly appreciated. Also, the building we were in had no golf cart to take us back and forth to the other buildings. It wasn't a problem walking during the day to the pools but when you're all dressed for dinner you don't want to arrive all sweaty from the walk. Other than that it was a great resort and family friendly with many options and places to hang out.
