Having its own little bay was really cool. That being said its a fairly large property and I believe it was sold out while we there. So as a result, the service times were really long at times. In addition, we tried to book a couple of the restaurants and were told they were full but when we walked by they were half empty. All in all this hotel is great for families but I would not recommend it for couples who are looking for 5-star service and impeccable facilities.
I'm in the construction business so maybe this last part of my review is not fair but they have a cool touch of having outdoor shutters that can be closed if you do not want to view the outside from your shower. Problem is the contractor who installed those things used the wrong fasteners as they are not anti-corrosion and as a result it is almost not possible to use those shutters since there is so much salt corrosion. Sad as this is such a new property. There were little things like that throughout the property. Not sure how the laws work in Mexico but in the US that is called a latent defect.
