"We stayed just one night before our flight out of Cancun. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow us to use the pool, but it looked inviting. The hotel is located in a safe residential neighborhood, with easy access to the hotel zone by walking or taking a bus. While the rooms are older and a bit dated, they met our needs for a short stay."

"We had such a wonderful time at Royal Cancun! The food was really good (even Asian night, despite other reviews), and the staff was almost all friendly, kind and fun. There is definitely a tip requirement here, so take that into account when planning your stay. The staff gets paid $20CAD/day, so of course they need tips to survive. Carlos at the beach bar, Alfredo for poolside service, and the housekeeping staff were all fantastic! We had such a great time we seriously considered a time...
