"Dated rooms with AC not as cold as you'll want, I asked to change rooms because of a mold smell but was not able to get one, they just sprayed an Air Freshener that smelled like Vicks. Also, I tried to get an upgrade as a VIP benefit several times and they always seemed to never have anything available. What was the point of being a VIP on Expedia? Other than that everything else was great. "

There are alebrijes around the property that can take your photo and send it to your room so you can buy them at the end of your trip. "We had an amazing time. The bedrooms are spacious and clean. Both shower and bath/jaccuzi. Several pool and the beach is so nice. The only bémol would be the system of dining reservation. The buffet was good but the steakhouse meat was not so we didn’t try the other restaurant. It was impossible to reserve a table anyway. The japanese was good. Would go back"

"The staff and service were excellent. The restaurants were good. Our favourites were Dos Almos, the Mexican restaurant and Ember. The mixology could be improved compared to other 5 star resorts. The pools were great, especially the main beach pool. The beach isn't good, but we knew this when booking. The pools make up for it. There are a lot of upsells and the corporate events hold it back from being a 5 star in my opinion. The corporate events made it feel less of a relaxing, romantic vibe....

"El Presidente facilities, staff, and food are excellent! Beautiful and convenient location. The dive shop on site was great and the staff there were top notch. My only gripe is the beach chairs share an uncomfortable design. Can’t lay sideways or in certain ways because of a bar under your back. Nice and sturdy chairs, but bad design. We will return and would recommend to others! "
