"We had a wonderful stay at the Riu Playacar and look forward to returning soon. The room was clean, comfortable, and had perfect air conditioning to retreat to from the heat outside. House keeping was on top of everything and always provided fresh towels and bed turn down. Breakfast and lunch buffets were our favourite and so delicious. There are good options around the resort for food and drinks. Enjoyed our trip and wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Amazing beachfront with excellent staff and wonderful variety of food and drinks! The buffet restaurants were excellent. We tried all standalone restaurants and we liked the Mediterranean, Italian, and Japanese restaurants. The mini jungle was a pleasant surprise with many different animals wandering the forest. Excellent entertainment crews! Will be back again very soon."

"Although the property is getting older, it remains nice, and the staff tries their best to ensure guests enjoy themselves. They offer a variety of food options, they provide exercise activities, have a massage/spa package, and they have a very eco friendly setting with wildlife on the property. "

"The property and staff were great. We had a really nice room and the beach and pool were really nice. I got an amazing deal on Expedia. The only reason it's a 4 and not 5 star rating is the food. While it certainly isn't bad. It wasn't great and there weren't a lot of options. Regardless it was a great experience and value. I would certainly return."
