We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The property was well kept, staff was fantastic and it was a small resort so it was easily walkable for all ages. The beach was stunning with no seaweed and having been to Mexico a bunch, this is a constant issue some places. Again, staff was fantastic and my room was always pristine. We got to know some of the serving staff as we always went to the same table. They were really accommodating, fast and thoughtful…just great people. We brought money specifically for tipping and did so consistently. The staff deserved it. My only few issues were as follows…the beds sucked. Rock hard on top with a weird bounce underneath the hard top. The Japanese Ala carte restaurant was not good but the buffets were consistently excellent. The hallways also need a re-paint. The coffee was also pretty crappy…really bitter. All in all those things were super minor. I’d definitely go back.

If there was ever a stay that was perfect then this was it. The staff were amazing and I mean outstanding, the cleanliness of the hotel was above all my expectations, the food completed the trip superb. I had watched many so call influences rate this hotel and they all missed what this place was about, to truly relax you to the point where you feel completely chilled. Well done Riu Palace.

The food felt recycled. Most of it was unflavored and felt like the resort catered more to the Europeans. There were barely any Africans Americans and while were just that, we were told we were making to much noise and had to lower our voices. Meanwhile, the Europeans and their children had no restrictions. This hotel is over priced, especially for the food and entertainment. This RIU did not meet our expectations.

El personal del lobby (la encargada) completamente grocera e incalificada para servicio al huesped. Nos causaron un incidente muy incomodo por falta de conocimiento de su propio reglamento y uso de instalaciones. El hotel esta demasiado viejo, las albercas de lo viejas que estan se sienten sucias aunque las limpien diario, las habitaciones muy viejas, los colchones horribles y muy viejos, las almohadas muy incomodas y lo peor son sus luces blancas por todo el hotel, tipo de hospital, ultra deprimentes. Lo único rescatable de este hotel es el personal de los restaurantes que es muy profesional y amable asi como la fantástica playa. Pesimo valor por el dinero que cuesta.

Food was good. Resort was not clean, there was an invasion of bees at the swim up bar I even got stung by one. The resort had a bad smell in some of the areas. It needed a major paint job. The bath in my room was rusty, there was a leak from the balcony door, and there was a mold odor. Entertainment could have been a lot better especially since there was an hurricane.

All staff is very nice? Love the show that their doing and the game, Yhe room is not only problem the YB is not up to date need to have the YouTube and neglec and prime time. Beach I’m not impress so much seaweeds
