"This place was great. It is right on the beach! playacar is beautiful and you can walk for miles on the beach. The condo was spacious and fit my family of 6. 5th ave is a 15 minute walk with tons of food options and its super easy to get a cab to go anywhere in the city. Pools and hot tub were great and the property was wonderfully maintained. Just for reference, the resort area is for an older crowd - I don't think I saw more than one other kid besides my own, but the people there were amazing....

"Villa Mariposa was a great place for our family wedding and vacation. "We received an email from them as we landed at the Cancun airport to indicate our room wasn’t available, the replacement accommodations they offered looked in no way comparable. At least they quickly refunded our money but we were left to scramble to find another hotel during the cab ride from Cancun to Playacar. We’ve never had anything like this happen before!"
