Closest Condo to Beach, Cleaning & All Fees Included!

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (22)
"The home was very clean and comfortable. Access to the beach via the Reef hotel was busy as Oscar promised, but the side access worked well!We had one day where the running water wasn't working. Oscar explained that this is because there's a tank shared by the whole building and if the building is really full sometimes it runs out before the staff can re-fill it."

Villa Mariposa, private pool, Jacuzzi & hot tub

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (80)
"Our stay at the Villa Mariposa was lovely. We debated staying at a resort versus a house and the house allowed for us to spend more time together as a family. One or our favorite nights was when we had a chef cook us an authentic Mexican meal. We'll be talking about that experience for some time to come. Mauricio set this up for us. Mauricio was our concierge and was quick to answer any questions we had. He was there to greet us at the start of our stay and checked in daily to make sure we had...

Iberostar Waves Tucán - All Inclusive

4.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1005)
"This is not a five star resort, but a five star value. We have stayed at Iberostar properties more than 10 times and they never disappoint. Very good food,.good drinks, great service, friendly atmosphere and at this property an amazing landscape. Plus the best beach anywhere. We will return. One caveat. BD Experience, our shutt service from the airport to the resort had no record of our reservation. Staff claimed this was a recurring issue with Expedia. We waited 45 minutes for them to sort...

The Reef Playacar Beach Resort & Spa

3.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (1008)
"Amazing hotel grounds, it's like staying in a jungle. Cute agoutis (local rodents) running around. At the time of our visit it had the best beach among the neighbouring resorts. All the other hotels had ugly sandbags everywhere to prevent the sand erosion. The resort has 2 other properties in Playa del Carmen, there are free shuttles all day long, definitely worth a visit, altough the beach is not as nice (many small boats spoil the view). This hotel is in a very secure gated district with...
