"It was my first AI trip to cancun and we were a group of 14 guests. Believe me, i couldnt be more satisfied than I was after spending 6 days at el cid marina...right from cleanliness, food, service and maintainance every thing was just 10/10. I would definitely recommend this place....only inconvenience we had on the first day of check in where we had to move from one building to another after spending 1 night in the room facing ocean..The second room was big and had decent space though...rest of the days were just wonderful...!"

"I wish the categories included very good...seems a gap between good and excellent. The facilities were excellent and the staff were excellent. The food was very good. We had no trouble with making reservations. the ambiance in the Italian restaurant was very nice and in comparison all of the restaurants were quite nice. I do wish there was an option for no kids in one restaurant however...kids and poor acoustics did impact a few meals. The beach we enoyed but it is not an expansive deep white sand option. Staff were exceptional and friendly. There was a very decent quality offering in all liquor categories...Centanario tequila...Bacardi rum....Canadian club rye Absolut vodka Tanquery gin and all you had to do was ask. The drinks were definitely better than most all inclusives we have been to. Rooms were clean modern and well tended to... all in all a return to 4.5 stars"
