"Velas is a neat little condo, conveniently located close to downtown and right on the beach. The manager, Alba is friendly and helpful. She welcomed us to use the bikes and asked if we needed help with them in any way. We opted to not have housekeeping service during our stay, and Alba assured that we always had any house keeping conveniences such as fresh towels, soap, and toilet paper. She is an excellent host and we will stay there again. "

Checked in with no staff just a key left on front desk, elevator broke on way up to floor with luggage, old razors left from previous guests in bathroom and shower, dirty hairy sheets, shared patio with other rooms and door to patio couldnt be locked as was previously broken into. "The Kabaña we stayed in was just constructed. It is a beautiful space. The shower is fantastic. The bed is ultra comfortable. As with all new construction, there are details that need to be addressed such as open gaps that allow mosquitoes in. A net over the bed would help. We stayed for 6 nights. We also stayed in the main building for 2 nights. It is dated but we would book the main hotel building for future stays. Both rooms were kept very clean. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. "The elevator not working is a concern. As I tried to move luggage and water bottles from the first floor. It was very difficult. How the service by Claudia was exceptional. She took care of our concerns quickly and effectively. We also found great transportation from Cun airport directly to Casa Sarita reasonably priced and efficient. "

"Great location. Our room (#11) was smaller than it appeared in photos. Kitchenette very small and nothing provided except dish detergent. Hammocks were excellent addition but building could use some love. Not good value for money, we left early and found nicer cheaper places on the beach side. "
