The beach is not good but if you walk 5 mins past the marina you can find a nice part of beach to take a dip. Overall a great resort in my opinion. "

"Our family (2 teen boys) were looking for a quiet, relaxed beach stay and Grand Residences was a perfect fit. The staff are great, from the airport transfer drivers and concierge, to the waitstaff, cabana attendants and housekeepers. Our Master Suite was huge and the private hot tub was perfect for hanging out at night after dinner. Plenty of quality food options at 2 restaurants, with theme nights to switch things up during your stay. Shrimp tacos at Heaven Beach Bar are great! There are a handful of daily activities, including a daily bike tour into town (Puerto Morelos). Some reviewers complained about signing receipts for meals/drinks/etc, this is only to provide a means to tip your room account. This resort does have timeshare units, and some reviewers complained about timeshare sell pressure - we were not asked about timeshare once during our entire stay. Overall a great experience, highly recommended to anyone who wants a more quiet beach resort experience away from the craziness of the Cancun hotel area."

"The rooms were clean. The food was the best food we had at any all inclusive ever. Especially the evening offerings. The only improvement we would like to see is maybe a little more music on the property. A little more energy on the beach etc. Easy fix. Just install a few extra speakers and you are good to go :). "

"The resort itself it very clean and the staff is friendly and willing to help at all times . We dined at Dorado and the steak house and both were very dissapointing .One should not need to go to the buffet after eating at these restaurants . We were at Hideaway and upgraded to Diamond club so we were expecting a higher level of dining .We stayed there five years ago and found the food was much better at that time . Our butlers were superb .Luis and Ulise were very attentive and listened to our concerns and filed reports on our behalf . I would certainly request them both should you decide to book a trip ."

"Dreams Sapphire was soooo amazing! It was a very safe and laid back property. Great option for families or couples. We did the preferred option which I highly highly reccomend. You get access to the adult only pool with complimentary Bali beds if you book a day ahead. I can not say enough good things about the staff! The adult pool had Jose and Resendas and they were AMAZING!!! Jose was so attentive and made us feel so well taken care of. Resendas made the most amazing drinks and would surprise us everyday with fun new drinks. They were tasteful and not like drinking gasoline. The pool was clean and quiet. They do a good job at looking after the area. The restaraunts were amazing. Our favourite was Portofino with amazing Italian options. Daniel was our waiter a couple nights and he took amazing care of us. I would go there just for him! The blue water grill (preferred) was so good and right on the ocean. Definitely wear your hair up when eating there as the ocean breeze will catch up to you! The service at all the dining options was not the quickest, be prepared to wait. The waiters were still amazing and friendly I feel they just lack staff and it adds long wait times. The entertainment was great. Lots of things to do at all hours of the day. Kid friendly options that adults are more than welcome to join in! Great evening opportunities! We loved dancing with the team every night.
