"Wonderful staff! We loved our room. Traveled with another couple and they accommodated adjoining rooms for us. So much for the kiddos to do. We enjoyed all food/drinks. Buffet was open for all 3 meals. Service was great for buffet and in restaurants, not slow. The steak house was our favorite. We didn't plan on utilizing the kid's "daycare", but my 9-year-old saw it and really wanted to go. So much to do in there! And since parents aren't allowed, we signed her up. We had her bring her iPad so she could communicate with us and let us know when she wanted to be done. The staff would also be able to call you if needed. I would not return to this resort, only for the condition of the ocean, which is out of the resort's control. The ocean is full of sea grass and not clear. No one really went in it. We love to snorkel and be in the ocean so that was a downer for us. If you aren't an ocean go-er, then this would not matter for you. The resort itself really is wonderful and 5 star all the way in every aspect! There is a separate adult only side with a pool and hot tub. The pools were cold, but we did not have good weather. That did not stop my child from swimming though! The hot tub was hit or miss. Sometimes it was hot, other times it was just warm. The night entertainment was enjoyable. They have a coffee shop that serves a variety of specialty coffees, sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and ice cream. We also really enjoyed that. We did a couple excursions right through the hotel."

"We booked at the Ventus for 2 weeks with a group of 6 - 2 babes, 2 older adults and 2 middle age. There was something for all of us! The Ventus is attached to the 'Marina' property and is essentially the same resort. The 'Ha' is just across the road. There are SO many pools with whatever vibe you are looking for. The restaurants/buffets are amazing and KOBO (Japanese) is an absolute must! Due to the sheer size of the resort, it can be hard to get to know the staff but we really enjoyed Jorge at the breakfast buffet, Brian at the Mercado and Enrique at the dinner buffet.
