"Just spent a week at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort. The resort itself was excellent from the staff, the rooms, the activities, and the food selection. The beach is not the best that’s for sure but that is something out of the resorts control. Highly recommend the a la carte restaurants. This resort does not deserve the negative reviews it receives. "

"EXCELLENT family and kid focused property. We stayed at the princess family club side and the kids pool was amazing as well as the kids buffet option and ice cream shop. The shows were great. With that being said, they had lots of options for the entire family at the main pools etc.. and lots of friendly staff, buffets, restaurants and more! Highly recommend "

"Our client services/customer service rep Maria was amazing. She helped arrange our dinners and excursions and even helped us plan a perfect little surprise for the husbands. The only part I did not like was the constant hounding from the reps wanting us to basically do the resort time share presentation to get free massages or excursions. No matter how many times you say no thank you they continued to stalk you. That was very annoying."

"In my and my teenage daughter’s opinion, fairmont is the best in all of mayakoba. Tauro and dinner at la laguna was a highlight. The Concierge do such a great job to make sure you can get into the restaurants. Needing reservations is definitely a must. We highly recommend taking one of their boat rides to get the lay of the land. All the water sports people were so much fun and helpful.
