"We came here 4 years ago and it used to be such a great resort that we decided to return. However, it Was such a big disappointment. The staff were rude and not friendly. You couldnt even get someone to serve you in the evening at the bar (even though we were tipping a lot each time). The food was so horrible and got food poisoning on 3rd day, food was stale with very limited options. One of the worse vacations thus far despite the large price tag of the trip. Do not recommend at all! "

"Our stay at JOIA Grand Bávaro was exceptional. Everything from our arrival, stay throughout the week, and departure went smoothly. The staff were friendly, and the room was cleaned well daily. Beach was beautiful, and the spa was a nice experience. The variety of food was great too. Dining options were the best compared with other all inclusive resorts I have visited. Our stay was relaxing and wonderful."

"Carlos the butler was amazing. Anything we needed he provided and in a timely fashion. The swim up suite was the perfect place for a group of friends to hang out. The swim up bars were awesome, the activities like the foam party was cool. The staff were friendly, attentive, and good at each one of their jobs. I would recommend this place to anyone and will probably go back myself at some point. It is an affordable vacation, that has perks that other vacations and resorts simply do not...

"First of all the only thing we liked was the staff service. Specially Sr. Bolivar Rivas (driver). This person is at your service and problem solving that makes you feel protected. Super Professional and Respectful and a great Human. Another staff is Sr. Jose Nunez waiter (captain) he runs a ship with such a smooth sailing and great human. And finally SR. Adrian Jimenez waiter at the Level Melia beach snack restaurant. He is amazing on remembering your drinks and constantly offering his service....

"Good hotel, staff is very friendly. The only observation i have is that there are a lot of mosquitoes inside the rooms. So if you want to travel make sure you have repellent, because its almost 40 dollars. Other than that, we had a good time!"
