The rooms are small and lack privacy for luxury family suites especially. The rooms can be maintained better. Staff seems bothered and not very accommodating. Pools and cabanas are nice. Beach is beautiful. Shows are cool.

Our stay at the Royalton Bavaro was nothing short of amazing, and a huge part of that was thanks to the outstanding service we received, especially from Estalin, our concierge. From the moment we arrived, Estalin went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. We initially had a room that was a bit further away from our friends, but Estalin quickly made arrangements to move us closer so we could easily connect and enjoy our vacation together. This simple yet thoughtful gesture made a huge difference and truly enhanced our experience. Throughout our stay, Estalin took care of all the details, from arranging our airport transportation, securing dinner reservations at some of the resort's fantastic restaurants to suggestions and contacts for our excursions. We never had to worry about a thing, and we were able to focus on enjoying our time at the resort. The resort itself is beautiful—spacious, clean, and with plenty of activities to keep us entertained. The food was exceptional, and the staff across the board were friendly and attentive. But it was Estalin’s exceptional level of care and dedication that really set our stay apart. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking to relax and enjoy some time away, I highly recommend staying at the Royalton Bavaro. This property is good for people with expectations of a 3-star resort. Average entertainment. Average food. Average staff. Dirty pools. Below average drinks. Beach is beautiful but useless as you can’t go in the water as it gets very steep. Room was damp and muggy. Air conditioner was very noisy. We waited 1hour for our order to arrive at 2 speciality restaurants after ordering food. Third time at third restaurant we just walked out after waiting. For lunch buffet, you have to walk all the way up to the beach which is good 10 minute walk from the lobby. There is no lunch offered at the restaurant in the lobby. For lunch and dinner buffets you have to find your own table as the staff just ask you to go in and find your own table. They do not escort you to the table. The staff hardly speaks English which is another drawback for only English-speaking guests. You have to walk long to get to the washroom and they were always out of soap if you are late than 7 AM you won’t be able to find a spot on the beach or by the pool.

It was a very nice resort. Very clean, friendly staff. There was a lot of daily activities at the pool every day as well as shows at night. It is family friendly. The only thing that can be a little bit better is the food, but compared to other all inclusive resorts the food was good.

El lugar es muy lindo, limpio y buena comida. Pero muchos empleados al ver que hablas español; te ignoran. Te cansas de llamar para q te lleven de tomar en el buffet y se hacen sordos. En el bar frente al water park de ninos; hay una chica turno de la tarde que estaba molesta porq cierran a las 11 y a las 10:20 fui a pedir un trago; aparte q le pregunte los tipos de trago q preparan y me ignoró. Todo lo demas excelente
