"I read several negative reviews on the property. We found it quite adequate and really good in a few areas. Yes, some of the floors are not level. Yes, some of the furniture is older and has character. Yes, the elevators, hallways, room, and especially the bathroom are small. In New York City all these things add up to 'Vintage Charm'. The place was clean, staff for the most part very helpful. Location was really good. Close to many nice eating places AND walking distance to Soldier Field. 2...

"This was a clean well maintained room. Regulating the heating was a bit of an issue but I figured it out. The bed was comfortable and soundproofing was good as I didnt hear the neighbours much. No restaurant nearby, so bring your food or you have to call out for food. Breakfast was basic but the eggs and waffles were freshly prepared. Tea and coffee available all day. Generally reasonably priced and comfortable for a short visit."
