"The hotel is nice and spacious. However, no convenient stores or shops nearby except when you take the hotel shuttle mini bus to Kyoto Station which runs 2 times per hour. During certain hours, there might not be space on the shuttle bus to and from Kyoto Station. Be prepare to take taxis."

They were loud, drunk, rude, and made thenstay less enjoyable. This hotel should review it's travel partners and better vet the groups coming in. The area is good but too many Gaijin tourists who are ruining Kyoto with there boorish behavior. I feel sorry for the locals."
