The hotel had a fantastic buffet breakfast and had many modern and cosy spaces to sit and relax in, including a cafe, bar and onsen. The room was clean and nice, and felt a bit more spacious than other hotel rooms we had in Japan. Reception staff spoke English well and their service was good, but felt a bit less helpful and accomodating compared to other places we had stayed. In the evenings, they had a live musician play instrumental music until 10pm, which was a pleasant surprise, but you could still hear it gently playing from within your room. Some might find this disruptive if your looking for an early night.

Unique design with open air aspect to reception area. Roof top room nice outside space helped because bedroom was small although bathroom was larger than our previous hotel (Hilton) Tokyo.
