Wonderful breakfast. (The only alternative for breakfast in the area was MacDonalds; other restaurants opened much later.) Helpful staff. Our family of 3 adults (2 parents & 1 adult child) had a room with 2 twin beds + bed sofa. Unfortunately, the bed sofa was too hard to sleep on, so our daughter...

"Our room at Aoi Hotel was very spacious, with a balcony the size of some budget hotel rooms and overlooking the Kamo River. The room gets daily cleaning and restocking, but the reception/concierge is not really present (they can be summoned with a phone call from the front desk). Overall, a unique, high-quality hotel in an excellent location."
