"Visited for our 32nd wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. Booked a classic double room but when we arrived were informed that they upgraded us to an executive room which was really large and immaculately prepared. We had use of the spa facilities if needed for additional cost but free use of the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna for 1 hour per day which made for a relaxing time after a long walk around York. "Staff and restaurant very nice, rooms are dated. We stayed in an Exec Room which we felt was on the small side, it didn't feel like an upgrade from a classic room. Tea/Coffee and water in the room is complimentary, everything else is chargable. Overall it was a very nice stay, once in the room I didnt get the luxury feel"

"Absolutely amazing stay at this hotel, cannot recommend it enough if you’re going to the O2. Very clean, very easy check-in and the walkway that takes literally minutes to access the O2 is amazing. I will be back. We didn’t have breakfast but that looked pretty good. "

"Really good stay overall. Facilities very good as usual but some areas can get quite busy especially as the hotel and the restaurants attract plenty of day trippers and people redeeming experiences like afternoon teas, etc. Room very clean. Breakfast - plenty of choice although quality has declined somewhat I feel compared to before (especially the made-to-order cooked meals). Staff generally good but could be more proactive and less 'robotic' and more authentic in interactions. Can be hard to...
