Loved the property all around. All the staff was great Especially the desk manager Siya and loved, Paul the doorman. He was so friendly and left a smile on your face. The 4 star is because of the size of the room. It was quite small and the bathroom was very narrow to move around.

We had a wonderful stay at the Strand Palace hotel! It was right next to Covent Gardens and it was a very safe place for us to walk around well end of the evening.

Location was everything but rooms very small, not even a chest of drawers or fridge. Couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom! Housekeeping were very good though. Only stayed here as best priced hotel in the area. Personally would not choose to stay there again.

I thought it was very odd that the single room I was staying in was missing a door and fan in the bathroom. Very weird. I’ve never seen that before and wished it wasn’t like that. Also, there was no fridge in the single room, which made it more challenging to keep certain types of food. Quite inconvenient.

The property is centrally located to tourist sites but does come at a cost. The attitude and demeanor of staff was commendable however the room temperature was deplorable. The thermostats are locked and can go no lower than 19c and many rooms are unable to reach this temp. However, staff was quick to move me to a cooler room at 3/4am when i was awoken dripping with sweat.

Very nice hotel well renovated in a great location! I suggest placing the bath mat outside the shower as it gets wet by the time we see it… water bottles a nice touch… small but comfortable… breakfast buffet is weak in quality from juice to espresso machine to selections with chefs controls on portions 😳 I guess it is what it is… for 18 pounds I can probably have a great espresso and juice as well as eggs at Starbucks around the corner… my choice I guess. Will return for the hotel but not the buffet. Overall a nice hotel!

There wasn’t a chair in the room !!!! At £300 a night !!! When paying bill I was asked if all was ok . I said there was no chair and the answer was that I could have rang and asked fo one !!! I was flabbergasted. The room was tiny !! To get in and out of shower was a 15 inch step . Dangerous.. I will not stay again …
