"Gorgeous grounds and surrounding area. Really peaceful and well placed for scenery. Good on sight playing for children and lovely even if you don’t leave the grounds. The apartments are super spacious and love the indoor sauna and hot tub. A little cold and old fashioned but adds charm. Absolutely love coming here with my family for a little break from the city. "Lodge room was very comfortable, clean. Bit of a walk to get to restaurant from it if you want to have a drink first or have mobility issues. But top marks to hotel reception they organised a pick up from room & back when finished by a very pleasant & helpful young man called Pete. Only issue was my steak at dinner, it wasn't good & don't think it was rump either as said on menu Other than that food very good"

"Excellent situation; amazing hosts- extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating- beautiful and safe areas for children to play. The outside gazebo/ eating area was fabulous along with the pizza oven. Swimming pool and hot tubs were a hit - the cottages were clean and cosy and well equipped - would highly recommend from the booking to the goodbyes and everything in between "

"A very nice property, in very quiet vacation community. Perfectly located for visits to Port Isaac, NewQuay, Padstow, Polzeath, Tintagel. The only small negative, we found the bed wasn't not the most comfortable, neither were the pillows, but all else met or exceeded expectations."
