We arrived at the hotel at 11pm only to be told that due to 'Maintenance' our rooms were nolonger available and that they would need to relocate us to a sister hotel. The staff were disorganised and unfriendly. There was no offer of a complimentary beverage or clarification on which sister hotel we were heading to. It was totally disorganised us and many other guests. We had paid for a 'Tower view' room at an addition cost and of course were not going to get a tower view. there was no offer of compensation. This is now left to us to pursue. Customer service was very poor.

The hotel is close to a bunch of tourist attractions that are accessible through the public transportation system which is walking distance away. Great location for those looking to enjoy London and what it has to offer. Only downside is that the climate control in the room isn’t working and they had a heater in the room which barely made a difference in the temperature of the room. But would definitely return!

I booked the room for a special ocassion and requested a few extra things in my room such as flowers and did not receive anything. No drinking water in the room, the only source of drinking water was the sink in the bathroom. There was no heating. The mini bar had only 2 drinks ( sprite and gin). The bathroom was all mouldy and the paint was coming off the walls in some places. The room is very dark with barely any lights inside.

Perfect position with views of the Tower of London and the Shard. Very quiet when we stayed and the ideal base to get around central London. Didn’t eat at the hotel - £22 seemed a bit steep for breakfast. A few scuff marks around the room suggest a bit of work needed and the TV system very disappointing. Many of the TV channels would not load and iPlayer didn’t either. Didn’t stay there to watch TV but it’s a basic service so should work.

Was given room 630 which had no curtains and a broken light. Went to reception and got given a different room but it wasn’t clean so we had to wait for the cleaner. Not great, especially as we checked in 8pm which was a long time from the normal 3pm check in. Rooms should have been checked.

The view from our room was amazing and the room itself was a good size, with comfortable beds. Check in was nothing spectacular, although easy enough. The decor is dated and there were signs of age, a handle was missing from a drawer, crack in bathroom sink, bathroom door looked water damaged at the bottom. Not the most modern room, usb sockets would be a welcome addition they have these in caravans and hostels so not exactly extraordinary nowadays.

I got into London after a long red-eye flight from the U.S. The front desk informed me that I could check in early if I was willing to pay the extra 100£ a night. They informed me that the room came with a view of the Tower Bridge and two waters. I was so exhausted that I paid the extra money. As soon as I got to my room, there was construction noise that lasted for hours on the floor above me. This happened every morning of my stay at 8:30am. The room was dated, the carpeting was stained, and you had no control over the heat/air conditioning. The only thing the room did have was a nice view of the Tower Bridge. However, it was not worth the extra cost. I will not be staying at the Tower Bridge again and felt completely ripped off by the staff.

Very nice hotel! The cleaning staff were extremely friendly and very helpful! However the staff at the front desk were quite timid and not super helpful if there were any questions. However, everyone has bad days so I get it! Other than that the hotel was very nice and clean.
