"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenview and hope to return. Our hostess was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Our freshly cooked breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed the cosy TV lounge. Everyone was very kind and friendly to our wee dog Heather."

"Property is well located to walk into Bath. Service at the accommodation was good, with breakfast service and quality excellent. Be aware that parking to the side of the property is quite steep. Would recommend this for a stay in Bath. "

"I was not impressed. Location was amazing but room was tiny, no chair and bathroom was a toilet right next to shower. Nothing at all like the photos on the website. No lifts either so was on 4th floor and had to use steps. Won't go there again"

"My second time in a year to the Lake District. Great Hotel and excellent rooms. My room was flooded with light and a big comfortable bed. Heating was great and the house keeping. The breakfasts are fantastic and certainly worth the indulgence. It’s located in a lovely village, with breweries, pubs, tea rooms and local craft shops. I highly recommend a stay. "

"Excellent bed & pillows, quality bedding. Room size was good. Excellent breakfast. Blackout curtains very good. Welcoming helpful staff. Bedspread was a bit un-luxurious . Major negative point was no handheld shower option, not everyone likes a deluge over their head and face. But overall we had a wonderful stay and would certainly visit this boutique hotel again."

"We stayed for our anniversary and we didnt actually realise until bed time that wed actually been upgraded to a queen size bed, which was absolutely blissful! So thank you for this. We spent half our holiday in bed. Cannot fault the cleanliness or room. Spotless. Had all the facilities we needed: kettle, tea etc, ironing board, luggage rack, hairdryer, towels. I did ring down to reception to ask for room service but other than for towels etc, they dont do this. I wanted to order some drinks...
