"We enjoyed our stay - the property was clean and is well looked after. It is a traditional chalet in a private holiday park which has some good amenities - at an extra cost. We appreciated the help from the owner when we needed it and was helpful at answering our queries before our stay. There are a few things that would make our score excellent - clarity of cost of electricity and instructions in the chalet of how to use it would have been helpful. "Unable to give a rating for this property as someone else was already staying in the accommodation we had booked thru Vrbo. Spent 4 hours travelling to a luxury lodge for 2 night break. Upon arrival, we found that someone else was already in occupation. The 'Host' of the lodge was unhelpful about our situation and just told us to contact Vrbo who it seems didn't book or confirm our break with the 'host'. The first call to Vrbo lasted just over 5 minutes and then I got cut off. My 2nd call lasted...

"Lovely, super clean property in a tranquil location. Great facilities with everything we needed for our three night stay. Comfortable king sized bed in a decent sized room. Parking space next to the accommodation. Our main issue was was with the on line check in as the welcome pack with the form to do this was not attached with the information sent by the hosts. "The chalet is very welcoming and offers all that you need to have a lovely stay and be independent if you wanted to. The site has been renovated and everything is in good working order. This is a great get away at a very good price"

"If you are looking for a slower paced experience, this is a lovely place to stay. The neighbors are friendly, and the tavern at the end of the road had wonderful food and good service. The village was peaceful and charming. It was easy to get to almost anywhere in Scotland with 3-5 hour drives. The road in to the village is quaint and you need to take your time getting in. Can’t wait to come back."
