The room was very cold. A member of staff came up to check it and turned the heating up high, but it took hours to heat up a tiny bit. I was offered another room but that was equally cold so I stayed in the first room. I was given a free standing heater. The phone didn't work so I ended up going down to reception about 5 times. A member of staff was obviously unaware that I stayed in the original room and walked in on me while I was in the bathroom. I was offered a glass of wine or complimentary breakfast to make up for the inconvenience, but it was too late for wine as I was about to go to bed. Also, I paid a little extra for a runway view. Turns out there was a building on the other side of the road which completely obscured the runway.... Overall, a disappointing stay.

Food was delicious but had trouble receiving service. The server visited the table next to us twice and never stopped by to welcome, see if we'd like something to drink or eat. I had to go to the counter to order.

Excellent customer service. Ease of check in which was wonderful to have as I arrived late at night. Very helpful and accommodating staff, were open to adapting services to suit my specific needs. Transportation to and fro airport easy, although no complimentary shuttle which would definitely set them apart from competitors. Overall really impressed and would come back.

The rooms were large for London and very clean. You will need to take the Hotel Hopper or public bus to get to the hotel. Food was good in the restaurant.

I have no clue how this hotel is getting such great reviews as it is no where near my experience: 1. Room is small but tolerable, however it is so dark with all lights on that I had to use the flash light on my phone to see things . 2. Worse part was that the room was freezing and only AC works. The phone we sent working so I had to go to reception to ask for help. Ladies pointed to a man and said someone will come to the room to help. The smile and look on one of the ladies told me that I wasn’t the first to complain and that something was wrong. I waited and didn’t hear anyone knock and finally had to layer up, turned off the AC and fell asleep. Got up really early freezing and was happy to find phone working and called front desk. Someone showed up a few minutes later and looked like a security rather than maintenance. He did not have a clue and then said there must be a defect. I ow really think that the folks in reception knew too well that the heating system was down but did not or could not say. Shameful to pay this much money and spend a miserable night. I won’t tell u about the breakfast the next morning but wasn’t much better than the room experience. I love Hyatt hotels and try to stay in their hotels as much as possible but this one was more like a newer cheap motel in the US. I will contact Hyatt to share my thoughts too

Stayed one night prior to my flight abroad. Room was clean and spacious, the only real criticism being an annoying buzz aĺ the time, but that aside it was fine. Breakfast was okay although the one day of the year when i treat myself to a cooked breakfast it was very disappointing in that it was virtually cold. The food was nice but the only food hot enough was the baked beans which keep heat anyway! Good for a stopover but stick to the good sellection of cereals, fruit, coffee/tea and toast
