"Just got home from a week stay at Puerto Libre. A beautiful new hotel. The location is great, and it is very close to the main shopping area and several great restaurants. My only complaint is the cleanliness. We stayed here a year ago and the cleanliness has gone downhill. They clearly do not mop the floors between each guest and the towels and bedding had stains on them. The shower head has at least half the holes blocked and this is common in México. The a/c is mounted over the bed so the cold air falls rapidly onto your feet.
