"This hotel is only 5 to 10 mins walk from Karlsplatz underground station so ideally dituated. There was some road works going on in the area which created a bit of noise and mess but Hotel Erzherzog Ranier was an oasis of calm. Breakfast was lovely the staff were friendly, my room was clean and had good facilities. The hotel has a quiet grandeur and i woud recommend it to anyone. There are steps in the hotel that cant be avoided so my not be suitable to those with mobility issues "

We wanted to be near a train station since we were coming in from Munich and knew we were going to utilize the metro/trains. "The has a superb location, very well stocked with all necessities. We were greeted by a very gracious landlord Daryoush Voshmgir. Mr Voshmgir went to great lengths to explain the advantages of the location, very helpful. The apartment itself was quiet, elevator access a step from the room door. AC, washer, all other appliances worked well. Many top locations are within easy walking distance, and beyond a major hub Ubahn (metro) station very close by. I would not hesitate to return to this...

"Great location for visiting Vienna-short walk to the city center, opera, naschmarkt, Hofsburg, etc. The hotel was easy to get into, and the staff were nice upon arrival. The front desk is only staffed during certain hours which makes certain normal operations of a front desk difficult. The A/C in the room was not very functional, and the room never really cooled down. The room didn't have any art or anything but was adequately appointed. "Near Belvedere palace. Good restaurants nearby. Could hear chairs scrapping on floors of other rooms."
