"Lovely hotel with a truly independent feel and a traditional approach to the delivery of customer service in the modern day. Genuinely friendly staff who are very experienced in what they do. In many respects it was a refreshing change from the typical corporate chains of hotels. Worthy of special mention are Gilbert, hotel manager, who we met at the front desk on arrival. He immediately made us feel relaxed and at home in our new settings. And Sanjay, head barman, who was an absolute pleasure to meet. Very friendly and very knowledgeable about his craft as a barman. The hotel benefits from a great location and offers a great breakfast which seems to please everyone. Also worth a mention is the sauna and steam room which is a great way to relax and refresh. Also, we had a nice bed with a ‘pillow menu’ and a super shower. Difficult to find fault with. "

"This hotel was outstanding. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a complimentary glass of prosecco and were made to feel very welcome. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable . Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. Plenty of food and drink options. The spa , gym and pool were a bonus . I would highly recommend. "
