"We loved the location of the Aluna- quiet, feeling of being in the jungle. The plants are well maintained. The staff is actually wonderful- but we happened to have visited during a slow season. While there is a bar in the pool, it wasn’t staffed, which left the inside bartender and servers a bit overwhelmed. "We absolutely loved it here! It’s beachfront, & the beach & sun lounges were amazing. You can order food & drinks from the beach - there are servers there. The breakfast was very good. We had the family room with 2 twin beds & the main bed is definitely a full size bed & not the advertised queen. The aircon worked really well. It did take the shower a little while to heat up tho’. They provide robes, but no slippers. The whole property is very rustic as you can see. It was a great stay....

"Part of the hotel it seems that they don’t work on it so it looks like is going down, like the area of the pool, the cenote that it’s inside the hotel. Room had a lot of humidity and it smell bad the first day we got there, and by the 3rd day the smell got worst. In the other hand rooms are confortable, the jacuzzi on our balcony was good, the ambient was nice, workers were very friendly and helpful. "
