"A very beautiful hotel that I would highly recommend to anyone staying in London! Close to lots of dining and coffee options and a few minutes walk from Maarten Baas’s Clock, which was a fun little sight to see."

"The hotel is one in row of small hotels in a building that is about 150 years old. It is located very close to the Paddington Station, and there are many restaurants in the area and a hospital (St. Mary’s). There is no breakfast but there is a McDonald’s and a restaurant within a couple of blocks that serve breakfast. Paddington Station has direct access to connect Elizabeth Line to go to and from Heathrow Airport (less than a 7-minute walk). From this station you can catch most trains and metro to go anywhere in London, and buses pass within a block from the hotel. My room was small but very clean. To get to it I had to climb 3 sets of stairs (they have no lift), so make sure to ask for a room on lower levels if you have difficulty climbing stairs. The Reception Desk staff will help you carry the bags. Desk personnel was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Mehdi, Paul, Hakeem and Buddha. My deepest appreciation and thanks to them. "

"Wilde Aparthotel Paddington was a smart choice for many reasons. Ease of access from Heathrow on the express train to Paddington Station. The room it’s we quite large, lots of room for suitcases etc. bathroom/shower a little small but nothing troublesome. I believe there was a blown fuse or tripped breaker in the bathroom as both the heated towel rack and mirror with a light in it did not work and both are side by side, while everything else worked. It’s possible I didn’t operate it correctly, as the wall controls are a little vague in the description of what does what, but I turned everything on and it didn’t work. Wasn’t a big deal at all, I never raised the issue until I was checking out so they could look into it in case the next occupant isn’t as easy going. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, microwave, cooktop, and even a dishwasher if you need it. If you are arriving after 11pm from Paddington station, they lock gates around the basin area and you have to walk around the block to the side from Edgeware Road. Not a big deal unless you are carrying something heavy or you are in a rush. I would stay here again as everything was great including the price. Would recommend. "

"I try to stay at the Mitre House on all my trips through London. The location is excellent, yet far enough away from the busy streets so you don't hear much traffic noise. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is very good."

"Surprisingly spacious room for the price in central London. Good bars and restaurants in the area but a little spoiled by the rubbish bags and homeless people in the vicinity. Nonetheless I would definitely book again as this isn't the hotels fault."
