Nice hotel with friendly staff. It is a typical small "London" city centre hotel. Very clean but because it is close to a train station and the underground is hallow, you will hear and feel some rumbling even on the 3rd floor so I imagine lower or ground level is more noticeable. Door is well sealed because you can hear people talking in the hall (was awaken by loud talking). I love booking with Expedia but breakfast is included if you booked directly and when I check, it would have cost the same. You should check first before booking via 3rd party.

Cheap room in January so no major complaints. But my room was on the first floor facing the main road so it was quite noisy. The room had a window but more like a porthole with a curtain. So it was quite dark during the morning when I was trying to work. For the price I paid it was good

Great staff. They are very responsive. Clean rooms and I liked that there was lounge to hang out. My only complaint would be the noise from the train, which wasn't terrible but also noise from a door the staff used to exit near our room. They kept slamming the door all morning. It was very jarring. Avoid rooms on the basement level and I think you will enjoy your stay here.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (3-6 December) and were almost completely satisfied with everything for a short stay. Convenient online check-in. Clean, cozy, blackout curtains, comfortable bed. Minus - glass door to shower/toilet has gaps, which does not provide privacy, and for a shy person this is a problem. Close to transport, near the tube and train stations. Close to historical places of London. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception - thank you all for your advice! Thank you to your entire hotel team for your hospitality and service!

I would give 4.5 stars. It’s clean the staff is great it’s an easy location to get around. If you don’t know the rooms are very small so don’t stay if you want a lot of space. I’ve stayed at point a hotels a lot so I’m good with that. The reason for 4.5 stars is the shower is very slow to drain so your standing in water and the way they designed the bathroom it has a rounded corner around the toilet so you legs are crammed into the wall

It was almost perfect except that there was no elevator. Although staff was very kind to help with my luggage, even without asking them. The bed and pillows were divine, clean room, plenty of selection for breakfast and most importantly, staff were all nice and made me feel comfortable and welcome, considering this was last minute change due to the cancellation of my previous booking. I have to add, walkable to both train stations.
