Good short stay.
The Shakespeare was ideal for my one night stay in London, being conveniently close to Paddington Station. The staff were helpful and the room was clean with comfortable bed and good shower.

Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to stay at this hotel as there was a maintenance issue with our room on arrival. We were taken to the hotel next door. This was apparently has a 3 star rating which I feel is debatable. The double bed was the smaller double I've ever slept in, uncomfortable pillows and extremely thin walls.

Amazing area. Plenty of indian and Turkish restaurants near by. Managed to get a private room at an amazing price. had a weird interaction where I was woken up from my sleep and asked if I was making noise/ heard a noise. kind of off-putting but decent stay otherwise.

The property needs some updating in furniture, pains and the sealing of the rooms needs to be cleaned as there were old dust, but the room and bathroom itself was clean. The breakfast was the best. Staying in room was not comfortable as the underground was laud and shaking the window and made noise, which I really couldn’t have a good sleep there.

This hotel is NOT worth the money. We paid extra for a double room and could barely fit our bags in the room with the bed, as well as had to squeeze between the walls to get to the bedside at all. We also paid extra for the continental breakfast which was barely a breakfast. We had a crack in the window in our bedroom, and when we told staff about it, they said there was nothing there so we had to just deal with it.
