"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. "We've been coming to this property for over 25 years we love coming here every 2 to 3 times a year it's one of our main properties we stay at on our way to Wine Country if you're really into history and a unique experience I would highly recommend this hotel just be aware that it is older and it's not very modern but if you really appreciate history and antique Style decor and don't mind the rumors of having it being haunted you will love this place"

"The highlight of this place for us was the location - a very easy 5 minute walk to old town, and also Macy’s in the other direction. The room size is fine and as expected. There was a fridge and microwave which was a bonus we were not expecting. The air con worked well. Shower temperature and pressure were good. On the down side, the bathroom had a strong urine smell but since you couldn’t smell it in the main room, we didn’t bother reporting it as we had already made ourselves comfortable....
