"We had a great stay - Staff could not have been more helpful , courteous or welcoming. Check in and check out were efficient and quick. Overall room was clean but it is time to dust the headboards and wash the floors better. The shower was hot but the walls and windows are not well insulated so any outside noise or noise from adjoining rooms you will hear. "This is the oldest operating hotel in Florida, dating from 1833. Very quaint and charming. We stayed in the main inn and enjoyed our time. However, the carpet in the room was shabby and the bed was very uncomfortable. Just needs some updating. The restaurants are very good and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. "

"The property was decorated beautifully. Our toilet top had a crack, but it worked. Other reviews said there was cigarette stains on the tub, I saw extra tub covering pieces. No cigarette holes, no bugs at all. Not even 1. I loved all about our little room. The lamps were adorable and the furniture was sturdy. "
