This hotel is too busy crowded with tourists. Roomy but old and noise . It’s not too bad . Great staffs. Location is great crosss street is a beach.

Construction right outside our room very noisy. Rooms old and dirty walls. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. The shor restaurant was awesome.

We were celebrating our 55th Wedding Anniversary. I notified the Hotel months before and requested a high floor facing Diamond Head. Also mentioned our late arrival time. We had a 21st floor room facing D.H. and the Clerk (James) scheduled a surprise gift which was supposed to be placed in our room on Thursday, but didn't make it until Saturday , however it was a nice bottle of Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, as well as several packages of local Hawaiian snacks. Our room was clean and did show minor evidence of aging but still was very nice. All the hotel employees were courteous helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend a stay here especially if you are not planning to have a car. The hotel is conveniently located in Waikiki and close to shopping and many restaurants. Parking at the hotel is 70 dollars a day, which is about the same as most hotels in Waikiki. There is a hop on hop off bus and trolley system that we found to be very helpful to get around the island. I would recommend the Waikiki Trolley system 4 day all line pass. The Hyatt Regency in Waikiki made our special occasion exceptional.

Have stayed at property several times over the years. Property is showing its age and in need of renovations. Currently doesn’t meet the expectations of the brand name. Also, many of the retail spaces on property stood vacant.

Found a dirty bandaid and fry in our room upon check in. Bathroom floor was very slippery. My son and I both slipped and I bruised my tailbone. Not impressed. They changed our rooms but I was still very upset with the situation as it was completely unacceptable.

Listen the property is starting to get dated. They don’t have electric vehicle charging. They charge a lot for parking a car. They obviously aren’t that bright. You want guests to rent a car and drive around. If they aren’t at the hotel running down the property then they are elsewhere exploring the island. The TV kept giving a lost signal and wouldn’t work or turn off randomly. Another room the bathroom door wouldn’t close even after being worked on. The escalator went down during our trip. The bidets are weak. The food options are not that enticing. The only good thing is the all you can eat crab for $85 per person. The show they offer is not worth the money.

The hotel’s location is very convenient, and the staff, particularly those at the breakfast buffet, were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was good and delicious, with a lot of variety. The housekeeping team was also very nice. However, the hotel rooms are in need of renovation, and there can be a bit of a wait for the elevator, especially during peak hours.
