The property was very conveniently located with many options for dining, entertainment, shopping, etc. The property itself is older and shows some signs of wear and tear. But it's clean. And the beds and pillows were very comfortable! There was lots of street noise, but I wouldn't know if we had neighbors or people upstairs because it was so quiet! I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is not a bad hotel, it's actually quite decent, or would be for an off-brand hotel. Hard to see how it is up to Hyatt Regency standards though. It's old and been worked hard, every day for a long time. So it's fraying and in need of a solid refresh to move it upmarket to merit the brand properly. On the other hand, the views off the front are inspiring and the location on the strip quite excellent.d The resort fee is the usual ripoff for which you get very little - this is not an irritation unique to this property, seems everyone here is doing it now.

We liked the views from high floor ocean view rooms, and proximity to restaurants beach and shops. Area improvement: move safe from floor to counter level. Add grab bars in bathroom. Yoga was terrible in the leahi room when it could have been amazing outside.

Right at center of Waikiki beach, just cross the street to relax on the beach for swiming or surfing. Easy walk to dine and shop. Booked waterfront room and got good view of Waikiki beach and spectacular sunset but no Diamond Head. Will need high floor Waterfront view for that next time. All and all, nothing can compare to a Christmas in Hawaii!

I really liked the hotel room, location, staff, cleanliness, accessibility except for parking! The self-parking location is like an obstacle course and is very very crammed even for a small size car and you can only self-park from floor 6 and above. I tried it once and handed it to valet which have the bottom 5 levels of the parking garage reserved. The beach is just across the street and you don't need a car to go around. I had activities planned around the island so I had rented a car but otherwise you can't beat the location since it has everything in walking distance. I stayed in EWR tower which seemed like an upgrade as compared to the Diamond Head tower. The valet is located near the Diamond Head tower so it was quite a walk from EWR tower, however the elevators don't start from the ground level, you have to take the escalators to the Lobby to get on elevators for either towers.

A great high-rise experience directly across from Waikiki Beach. We had 2 nights in Honolulu before spending a week on the Big Island. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, as we wanted to stay in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki with great views. Stayed on 35th floor with fantastic views of Diamond Head and the city. The beach was steps away with easy beach towel and chair availability. Rooms were clean, comfortable moderately updated and the elevators were fast. All the upscale shopping and plenty of dining surround the Hyatt so it's a perfect spot.

The location is the best. The cleaning staff pi’s excellent but the front staff kind of not friendly especially during chrck out, no smile and seems annoying, the rom has a nice view but kind of noisy due to low level stay. The worst is the elevator, slow and always packed
