"I enjoyed my stay at HI-Boston. I like that the shared bathrooms are in the hallway (unlike many hostels, which are in the room) and there are many individual ones available on my floor. The beds are comfy. Big kitchen area with lots of seating. Continental breakfast was ok. The hostel hosted a trivia night on Monday and they offered 2 drinks and snacks for everyone and it was great to hang out with fellow travellers for some fun times. Highly recommended this hostel. "Stayed for four days and it was quite enjoyable. Its location is very convenient for subways and local resturants. The train might be bothersome for some, but im used to this back at home so it didnt effect me at all. Staff was nice and helpful. Downstairs hangout and kitchen area was clean and cozy too. Will definitely stay here again in the future!"

"Overall, my stay here met my expectations for what staying at a hostel and sharing space with other guests would be like. Your mileage may vary based on who else is also a guest at the time, with regards to noise levels and cleanliness of shared bathrooms, but I had a great stay. I came into town for work and knew I wouldn't be spending a ton of time in a bedroom, so the space and ease of access exactly fit my needs. I'd stay here again if I get another opportunity to visit NYC!"

"No sound or noise restrictions regardless of the time of day. Other Hostels provide a more quiet environment between 11pm and 10am. Seasoned guests do not tip-toe around nor do they attempt to stifle their noises. "

"Tofo was super dirty, garbage in the room, used tampons under the bed, the bathroom was terribly dirty, there was no toilet paper. Additionally, the area where the hostel is located was dirty, and looked dangerous. I do not recommend staying at this hostel. It's cheap but I wouldn't stay here again."

"I booked this hostel as I needed a place to crash for a night due to plans changing last-minute and I was pleasantly surprised the experience was even better than I imagined! "My first ever hostel experience: I had a private room with an en suite, which was surprisingly latge, comfortable, clean, and accommodating of my remote work. I would recommend the private accommodation. Hostels are often ridiculed so at least give this one a chance."
