Disappointed by this hotel. Very noisy/chaotic...not nice chill vibe as described. No towels in room. Elevators were terribly confusing-everyone we met was frustrated by the elevator system. Resort fees were ridiculous...would NOT recommended this hotel.

Firstly, my original booking was for last June for my 50th birthday. I had a medical emergency so had to cancel my flights and hotel 24 hours prior to the trip. Expedia worked with Twin Fin to not give me a refund, but a guarantee that if I book another stay within the rolling year they would give me a credit of what I already paid for the stay. I received it in an email in writing from expedia. When I planned my trip for December expedia worked with the Twin Fin hotel, and was told they would not honor what I had already paid for in June for my December stay. I asked them twice to share the email I received with the hotel management, but was still told that they would not honor my payment for stay in June for the December trip and I had to pay again to stay. Very disappointing and upset about that. On our arrival at check in and each time we interacted with the front desk staff they were not welcoming and you could tell were not happy that they were at work. Each staff member was to the point of almost being rude to my son and me. The condition of the facility was poor in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Elevators were disgusting and needed a good wipe down. The base boards in our bathroom were peeling away and you could see a hole and exposed wall behind the toilet. The tub and sink had mold and were very dated. The lanai had bird droppings all over it. Just a few of the details that needed to be addressed. Overall terrible experience at Twin Fin. Do not stay here

Stayed in an oceanview king bed with lanai (21st floor): the views are absolutely stunning, the bed and room are lovely, huge TV. The reception team was so helpful with a couple of things including helping me arrange slightly later checkout to accommodate flight layover. Was on the same floor as Coconut Club for breakfast (but one annoying thing is you have to book at least a day early or can’t eat there)

This is the best deal on Waikiki beach. The hotel is not as luxurious as the others in the area, but still rooms are renovated and even those with partial view will give you access to the amazing Waikiki sunset! Conveniently located close to all of the restaurants but not in the chaotic middle of it. Particularly convenient for families with little kids, it’s across the street from the no-waves part of Waikiki beach. Additionally: the resort fee includes 3 beach accessory rentals everyday so you can get your umbrella, chairs, paddle or body board, cross the street and you are literally all set. Bottom line, best deal in Waikiki.

Great place to stay near east end of waikiki they have beach toys on free loan (but dont expect to SUP). I saw a turtle in ocean 3x right off shore just east of breakwater in marine reserve which had good snorkeling and fun jump from pier into water.

The staff and the establishment were extremely pleasant. Parking was a breeze. The hotel is directly across from the beach so it’s super convenient. My only issue about the entire stay was the speed of the WiFi. It was not worth going through the process to get it established. Other than that I’d stay again.
