"This hotel isn't a far walk from Kyoto Station which was very convenient. A good amount of food options nearby. The staff was very friendly with the breakfast buffet having a good amount of options. I wish there was a self-laundry site but they do offer laundry services."

"Location! Location! Location! Close to many shopping areas and Gion and a hop and skip to a subway. There also a wonderful Kimono rental shop nearby called Akuru! Above and beyond staff: I lost my JR Pass (had to get the green car one as I have pneumonia and cannot take smoke or smoking smells) and the front desk staff found it! All the staff was really friendly and helpful. Sure the room is a bit outdated but it was clean and loved all the little things they provided in the room like...

"Upon departing from Tokyo, my younger brother and I chose this lovely location for our Kyoto stay. Even doing some research before our trip, I didn't realise we were SO close to Nishiki Market! This was a major plus in our book - the main drag was only around 6-7 mins from the hotel, which also meant our Tea Ceremony was close as well. The hotel is very classy, with gorgeous decor and several restaurants as well as spa and hot spring facilities. I wasn't able to take advantage of the hot spring...
