Rooms are smaller, but that is offset by the hotel's nice features. It is close to Kyoto Station, the breakfast buffet is very good, and the staff is excellent. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Kyoto.

Really handy for the Shinkansen. Lots of great shopping and restaurant options. Great rooms, excellent staff and very quiet. Also really convenient for many of Kyoto’s top tourist attractions.
