Nice hotel in a prime location, near to subway line, walking distance to Gion district. Lots of shopping and restaurants around. Hotel is nice, main areas and public bath area very clean, beds not the most comfortable but otherwise great place for the price.

don’t tell anyone, but this hotel is an incredible find. It’s in an absolutely great neighborhood, Close to everything. You can easily walk to it from the train stop. There’s an onsen. There’s also a breakfast included. The rooms are spacious. It’s fantastic. Don’t tell anyone.

Amazing hotel! Very clean and nice. The staff were really nice and helpful. Beds could be more comfortable but doesn’t take away from how great our stay was. Walking distance to subways and restaurants.

Property is well maintained and is close proximity to coffee shops and eateries. Used the baggage service to send off my luggage to the next hotel. Starbucks just around the corner and so is the subway.

Hotel was great, twin bed rooms was very big. Used the hot bath which was nice - first time. Location was excellent, walking distance to attractions. Train stop around the corner and 7/11 store and Starbucks across the road.

This property is extremely nice. The rooms were much larger than our stay in Tokyo. The breakfast was very good! There is lots of restaurants within walking option. As well as subways and bus stops. Would recommend to anyone!

We visited Kyoto for 3 days and this hotel was in a perfect location. It is only a few steps from subway and there is a 7/11 convenience store right outside the front door. The staff speaks fluent english and they helped us stow our luggage and gave us recommendations on things to do while we waited for checkin. The room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay T this property again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Loisir, we loved that a 7 eleven was right outside for a quick midnight snack. Loads of restaurants around the corner and a decent 10 min walking distance from the shopping area. The rooms are quite compact, making it an occasionally challenge to open a large suitcase in the room. However with enough temporary rearranging of furniture, we managed. Overall it was an excellent stay

Excellent location within walking distance of Nishiki market and other areas. Room was spacious, we could have both our suitcases open and still have space. Bed was firm, pillows were ok. Bathroom is standard small size but functional. Onsen - is more of a hot tub rather than a normal onsen so is more chlorinated and it bubbles. Hotel doesn’t offer luggage transfer service, and the nearby 7/11 wasn’t able to help so we had to take our luggage to one that was around a 10-15 min walk away.
