"Great location about 1.5 miles or a $6 cab ride to the malecon. Close to the airport 15 mins if there’s some traffic. The Versailles neighborhood is right up the street with a lot of options for food if you do not want to do AI everyday. Rooms were clean a bit noisy at night from the entertainment at dreams or secrets depending on the night but everything wrapped up by 11. Pools were clean and the entertainment staff fun and friendly. A bell rings at the pool when a whale is spotted if u r there...

"The location is great, with lots of places to walk to, but not as crazy and loud as the romatic zone (but thats within walking distance too!) The staff was helpful, friendly, and attentive. The only downside we found is that the pool closes at 7 pm."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Las Palmas. Our ocean view room was great. Lots of hot water in the shower and bottled water replaced daily. Food was adequate in the buffet. There was always something that appealed to both if us. The 2 a la cartes were good as well. "
