"Just returned from our six-day, five-night vacation at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta yesterday and had an amazing time! They are working on a little construction, but that's just an example of their commitment to excellence and constant customer satisfaction. I thoroughly enjoyed the Vitamar Spa (Veronica was wonderful!). We also enjoyed seeing employees we'd seen since our first visits when the property was still Dreams (this is our seventh time in fifteen years between Dreams and now Hyatt Ziva). Miguel and Luis at the pool bar were as wonderful as ever and are true examples of exemplary service. Additionally, Orlando at the pool bar was so friendly, professional, and personable! He was so great to talk to and we look forward to talking to him again during our visit next year. Also, a shout-out to Jahir at the teppanyaki bar, whose food and friendliness were amazing! "We had lots of great experiences! Ceaser/ Edgar in the premium lounge made us wonderful beverages. Alfredo and Ricardo helped kept us happy at the pool. The pool and grounds are beautiful."

"Great Service, Great Food—But Please Don’t Turn This into a Playland The service here is excellent, and the dining options are well-rounded. The Japanese restaurant, in particular, is outstanding. I've truly enjoyed my time here and appreciate the relaxing atmosphere the resort currently offers. That said, I'm very disappointed to hear that the new owners plan to transition the resort to an all-inclusive model. Puerto Vallarta is a foodie’s paradise, and part of the magic of staying here is exploring the incredible local restaurants throughout town. Limiting guests to on-site dining would take away a huge part of the PV experience. I hope the owners understand that many of us don’t want to be locked into resort meals, no matter how good they are. I also heard plans to add a lazy river, which feels more suited to a theme park than a sophisticated beachfront resort. A new adults-only pool sounds promising, but I’m confused why it’s being placed closer to the hotel rather than near the ocean—where adults typically want to relax and enjoy the view in peace. This is a special place. I truly hope the new direction doesn't strip away what makes it feel like an escape for adults, not a resort for families with pool floaties."

"This is a very well put together Hotel situated in a wonderful area in Puerto Vallarta. The staff especially Erasmo was too great. This was an excellent choice and being an Expedia member I really finally felt that my membership actually meant something. Great job Darrell"

"We have stayed at this resort for over 20 years and while we really like the resort, the room we stayed in is in need of renovation. If I was staying at this resort for the first time, I would be really disappointed in the room. The mirror in the bathroom needs replaced right away and the whole room needs a makeover. Other than that, we really enjoy the resort. It just needs some TLC! "
