"I was looking for an all inclusive that would hopefully have other families with teens for spring break and Vellas was perfect. It's a pretty place with lots to do and easy access to good food (again - teen appetites). Everyone was very friendly. The beach was great for us - it was higher surf which we loved but probably not easy for smaller kiddos. The beach cabanas and shaded lounge areas (with flowering vines) was really nice but you had to get one early. "

"This was a great property for a group get together we had 20 people and wanted a centrally located place that had easy access to downtown Puerto Vallarta while also having a place to group up and hang out. The staff were all wonderful and kind. Loved the direct access to the beach & hearing the waves all day - very beautiful. We enjoyed the pools and various bars. The dinner options were a bit difficult with the requirement to make reservations ... or use the buffet as the only walk in option. However, it gave the opportunity to considering exploring the city a bit more for dinner which was nice. It does allow kids so would just highlight that - and if kids arent your vibe they have a nicer adult only property next door that 1 of our friends stayed and enjoyed. Great overall experience, would highly recommend!"
